I've decided to widen the frame rails on the driver's side. It will then match the passenger side which was done to accommodate the motor. On the driver's side it will become a foot well. I'll make it so the floor pan and the skidplate will be one and the same. The seat can then be lower in the chassis.

It has no exhaust, but the Rock Hopper and I took our first little ride around the yard and down through the field this morning. Baby steps.
