What we are looking for:
- Ability to perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Use of diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, A/C
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of
time needed for additional repairs
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
- Present and demonstrate a high-quality and professional knowledge presentation of vehicles
- A commitment to fixing things right the first time and providing our customers with the best experience possible
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience as a service technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to learn and apply techniques quickly and efficiently
- Maintain work space in an orderly and clean manner
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Math, reading and computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills - must be able to answer questions regarding vehicles and service
