We have been extremely busy lately. Seems turbo’s are the new hot item this month! Set of compounds on a customers tow pig. Stainless 5 blade on a pulling/race truck. Stainless 5 blade on a race truck. And a Borg Warner upgrade in a C model Cat in a dump truck. We are a Borg Warner, Garrett, and stainless reseller. Let us take care of your horsepower needs!
Had a Chevy express get towed in due to loud noise when engine is running. We found that the flexplate was broken. Customer was very lucky it broke in his driveway. Factory flex plate did well for 400,000 miles. Hopefully this updated one will last twice as long!
Customer came in wanting a little more power out of their 1985 F250. We installed a banks sidewinder kit and some new injectors. We also installed a electric lift pump and tweaked the injection pump to make this old truck come alive!
Had a Honda Odyssey in a couple of weeks ago for a air bag light. Found there was a break somewhere in the dash harness. Replaced the dash harness and problem was repaired.
Turbo replacement on this 2011 6.7 Powerstroke today. Customer had multiple issues with low boost codes on this beautiful 61,000 mile truck.
Finished up this large project today. This LBZ duramax was brought in with a severe amount of blow by and a misfire. Upon diagnosis we found 4 cracked pistons and one cylinder scored. We installed Fingers pistons, ARP Head Bolts, main studs, ARP rod bolts and a wagler street alternate fire camshaft. Fully balanced rotating assembly and full valve job. We also upgraded the turbo with a TATER BUILT Turbo Chargers & Machining 63mm turbo and a set of Exergy injectors. We also upgraded all the intercooler piping to full 3” and an HSP Y-bridge to Increase flow. We also installed chicken lights and custom stack setup to make it a one of a kind. While engine was out we also installed a Goerend Transmission Inc. low stall triple disc converter and shift kit to help extend transmission life. CTT Tuning Inc. helped us out with the custom tuning on the engine and transmission to make this truck a dependable hauler.
We are a very laid back but busy shop. Looking for a technician with own tools. Inspection license is a must. Would prefer experience in variety of brand of vehicles. Pay will be determined on experience.
F-150 ecoboost came in with multiple issues. Multiple codes for timing concerns and engine noise. Upon diagnosis we found that the timing chain tension had failed causing the engine noise. We also discovered the cam phasers were sticking. We replaced all components with all OEM updated parts. During a job this far in depth we always make sure the parts that are being re-used are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before re-installing.
Today was the opening of our new bay! We will primarily do light and heavy duty diesel work in this specific bay. We will be offering maintenance items, major and minor repair and performance. Upgraded this old C Model Cat today. We installed a new Steed Speed manifold paired with a 78mm Borg Warner turbo. Turned the fuel screws up to a total of 7 rounds and still doesn’t see over 700 degrees on the pyrometer! Engine does have upgraded steel top pistons so the longevity and power pair well!
Last week we had a Ford Escape with the V6 in for some oil leak concerns. We found the front timing cover gasket was compromised. We recommended doing timing chains, guides, and tensioners while inside. All replaced with factory gaskets and parts. Also all parts that were being reused we ran through our industrial parts washer to make sure there was no debris left on those components.
This is a Peterbilt that we overhauled with an injection pump rebuild on a C Model Caterpillar. We updated this engine to steel top pistons, due to the old aluminum top ones being cracked. During install we updated the cylinder head to accept an E Model exhaust manifold and 78mm Borg Warner turbocharger. With this combination we set the fuel up 5 rounds above stock settings to an estimated a clean 600-700hp!
Have an 06 Dodge 2500 in the shop this week for complaint of oil leak. Customer stated he had another shop install a front crank seal. We found the seal was installed improperly. Also found the gear housing gasket was compromised as well. We replace the oil pump due to wear and tear on the 220,000 mile engine!

Freightliner classic that was towed in off the road. Complaint of engine being extremely noisy. During diagnosis we found that something in the gear-train was not happy. Upon disassembly we found that the bullgear had catastrophic failure. Which led to the engine lubricating system being contaminated with metal debris. Bearings in the engine were destroyed resulting in a crankshaft that was non salvageable.
6.4L Powerstroke we finished up a couple weeks ago. Customer complained of poor performance and possible turbo loss. During disassembly we found that it indeed had turbo failures and also had an engine failure. We replace the engine with an Asheville Engine, Inc. delipped and coated piston short block for longevity. We also installed a Maryland Performance Diesel single turbo swap with their CCV re route. And topped it all off with some Maverick Diesel tuning to make this thing a reliable powerhouse!
Customer came in with a complaint of an exhaust leak under the hood. Upon disassembly we found a cracked primary turbocharger and a cracked exhaust manifold. This truck came factory with compound turbos. Customer decided to convert the compounds into a single turbo setup. This kit turned out beautiful and simplified the engine bay for future repairs! We also found the cooling system was in horrid shape which could cause engine failure in the future. Flushed total system and fill with clean coolant. Customer was super thrilled with the performance of the truck once they picked it up! No job is small nor big! Give us a call and we will get you fixed up!
Heavy work has picked up around the shop! Customer came to us with a check engine light, leading us to a stretched timing chain and a failing chain tensioner. We replaced the 3 timing chains all tensioners and guides correcting the check engine light. Stop by or give us a call to set up an appointment, don’t let the light shine.
Customers Peterbilt dumptruck came in for a major oil leak. Upon rear down we pulled the pan and noticed a lot of metal in the bottom of the pan. We removed main caps and found the bearings in this condition. Customer decided to purchase a pullout engine for us to install. No job to big or small! We offer many options for different job types. Had a kenworth with an N14 Cummins come in this week. Came in for a blown headgasket. Upon removal of the heads we found cylinder 6 had a broken piston ring. Pulled the pan to remove rod and piston assembly and also pulled a main bearing cap to check bearings for longevity. Found that bearings were in terrible shape and the crankshaft damaged. Engine removed in preparation for block work and crank work before total overhaul.
Had a couple customer horse trailers come in for maintenance during their slow season! White was came in for brake adjustment and wheel bearing adjustment. Red one was in for full re-wire, brakes, wheel bearings and floor repair!
Had a customer with an international dt466 come in with a running and misfire complaint. Always been serviced at a dealer. We found fuel contamination that had been an undergoing problem! Rust flakes from their farm tank most likely their cause. New filters and pre filter screen and running flawless!
Had a customer come in with the infamous 6.0 powerstroke problems. This is the 3rd and final time the headgaskets should be replaced. Other shops wouldn’t install aftermarket studs which is crucial with these trucks. Installed arp headstuds with a Ford oem gasket set. Sent the cylinder heads out to be pressure checked and decked. Back on the road in no time! Another happy customer to back on the road worry free!
Another customer back on the road! Came in last week with a blown headgasket and a compression notched liner on a higher horsepower CAT . We got him back on the road Saturday just in time for his next load! No job is to big or to small!

Had this sleek Pete in this week for an injection pump rebuild! Customer complained of low power and poor throttle response. Found the 1.3 million mile pump was on the verge of runaway due to worn internal parts. Also cleaned up all the leaks on the injection pump side of the engine to clean up the engine bay.
Truck side is keeping the bays full! Ford l9000 in for a transmission rebuild and engine diagnoses. Peterbilt came in for dropped valves on #1 piston causing engine failure. No job is to small nor to big!
Toyota Highlander came in for state inspection finding front sub frame was severely neglected. Sand was trapped in the subframe which holds moisture. This sub frame retains the engine, transmission, and holds the front suspension. If this would’ve become totally compromised it could have been fatal. Make sure to keep your vehicle maintenance up to date.
Our first install of a Fass Fuel Systems on a beautiful w900 today! Customers truck was due for fuel line replacement and was looking for a little more performance a fuel economy. Truck starts and idles better than factory! Let us know if you would like a system installed since we are a fass dealer! Don’t let your fuel system suffer!

Another happy customer! Truck was towed in with a catastrophic transmission failure mid week this week. Customer wanted it replaced with a weller remanufactured transmission with a quick turn around! He is back on the road with minimal down time!

It's been a busy 2 weeks at the shop! Have had 2 duramax pickups come in for some upgrades thus far! One truck came in with complaint of a jumpy take off during acceleration, finding both engine mounts broken due to age! We upgraded him to Dmax store's kryponite engine mounts making sure the engine stays in its place. Other customer truck is used to travel across country with a camper wanting to increase his distance per tank. So we upgraded his 26 gallon factory fuel tank to a 52 gallon titan tank that fits in the factory location!
