🚨 TEACHING MOMENT: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AFTER AN ACCIDENT 🚨

Here’s something every vehicle owner should know BEFORE they ever need collision repairs:

YOU have the right to choose your repair shop. 🚗

Your insurance company may recommend a “preferred” or “in-network” shop. They may make it sound like using that shop is the easiest or even the only option.

It isn’t.

You may hear things like:

❌ “We can’t guarantee the repairs if you go somewhere else.”
❌ “You may have to pay the difference.”
❌ “That shop isn’t on our preferred list.”
❌ “Your repairs could take longer if you don’t use one of our shops.”

Don’t let those statements scare you into choosing a repair facility you don’t want.

👉 The choice of repair shop belongs to YOU.

A “preferred shop” is a shop that has an agreement or relationship with the insurance company. That does not automatically mean it is the best shop for you, your vehicle, or your repair.

And remember this:

The insurance company has its interests.
The repair shop should be looking out for YOUR vehicle and YOUR repair.

So if you’re ever in an accident, remember:

It’s your vehicle.
It’s your repair.
It’s YOUR choice where it gets fixed

Know your rights. Ask questions. And don’t let anyone steer you into a repair shop you didn’t choose.
