I had the chance to be featured on the news talking about something we’re seeing more and more of this time of year—the rise in deer-related auto crashes. As a mechanic and tow truck operator, I’m on the front lines of what happens after these accidents, and the increase has been no joke.

Sharing what I see every day is important if it helps even one driver stay safer on the road. If you’re driving at dawn or dusk, stay alert, slow down, and remember: if a deer crosses, there’s usually another right behind it.

Every year around this time, deer activity dramatically increases. This also increase the chance for a deer collision when driving at night.
