This Ford Escape came into our shop with the dreaded Ford coolant intrusion issue that some of their smaller eco boost engines suffer from. Coolant will leak into the cylinders and cause misfires and smoking on start up. Ford’s fix for this issue is replacing the engine. ❄️ Freezing Temps.... Here are a Few Vehicle Tips to Keep You Rolling! 🚗

Extreme cold weather is very tough on your vehicle. Here are a few quick tips to help you stay safe if you must go out.

✔️ Allow your vehicle to warm up for at least a couple of minutes to allow the engine oil to circulate
✔️ Check your battery — cold temps can drain it fast
✔️ Keep your gas tank at least half full to prevent fuel line freeze
✔️ Top off antifreeze and windshield washer fluid (winter blend!)
✔️ Check tire pressure — it drops as temps drop
✔️ Keep an emergency kit in your car (blanket, flashlight, jumper cables)

Staying prepared can save you time, money, and stress when temperatures dip.

This 2021 Chrysler Van came into the shop leaking coolant. We pressurized the system and found the radiator leaking. In order to replace the radiator the entire front of the vehicle must be removed. Give us a call for all of your auto repair needs!

We do used car inspections! We have seen a lot of issues lately with used car inspection forms not being accurate. If you plan on buying a used car, have it inspected before you buy it! It is always good to know everything before you buy!

Some tips when looking at a used vehicle:

• If the seller doesn’t want you to have the vehicle inspected, they might be trying to hide something

• Get a copy of the CarFax. Most dealers will provide this at no charge. This will show maintenance and accident history of the vehicle.

• Lastly, Ask Questions! We are here to help.

We know that our parking situation has been less than ideal lately! We would like to thank the Mosinee Fire district with helping us with the first step of our parking lot expansion!
