Local family owned business, Palouse Country Auto Care has been serving our community for over 10 years and is in need of an experienced technician to meet continuous high demand for automotive repairs.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who works well independently while maintaining quality of work. Experience working in a fast paced auto mechanic shop is preferred, with knowledge in performing routine vehicle maintenance, major mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and customer service.
Work hours are generally 8am-5pm Mon. - Fri. with flexibility.

Auto Technician - Job Description: Candidates for this position will be working on general maintenance, major mechanical repairs, l**e, oil, filter services and diagnostics on vehicles. In addition to general service technician responsibilities, job duties will also include:
路 Perform quality mechanical repairs and maintenance work of all kinds
路 Thoroughly diagnose issues on the vehicles
路 Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair
路 Test drive all vehicles both before and after repair to ensure quality and completeness of the jobs
路 Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and experience
路 Working knowledge of mechanic shop equipment and tools
路 ASE Certified is a bonus but not necessary
路 Good work ethic
Job Type: Full-time Auto Mechanic
Expected hours: 40 per week
Monday to Friday 7:30-5:00

We would like to congratulate Chad and Sidra on their retirement from Palouse County Auto Care! Thank you both for the years of commitment, expertise, and honesty to the Palouse. You will truly be missed by all of your customers.

We would like to also introduce our selves as the new owners of Palouse Country Auto Care, Jeremy and Danette Swam. Long time Moscow residents. Jeremy has worked for Chad and Sidera for the last two years and has over 20 years experience in the automotive industry. Danette has been teaching for over 20 years. We have 4 children and are active in the community. We plan on keeping the amazing service, honesty, and small town feeling Chad and Sidera brought to our community every day. We look forward to getting to know all our valued customers.
