Full Time Mechanic Position at Byers Automotive

Overview

Byers Automotive has been in business for over 30 years and we strive to offer our customers high quality vehicle repair, service, auto body and towing services. We are seeking to hire an experienced service technician. This is a full time mechanic position, Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, and pay will be based on skill and experience.

Day to Day Expectations

- Diagnose and repair vehicles
- Diagnose electrical issues
- Perform duties ranging from oil changes, brake jobs and tire rotations to timing belt/water pump replacements and motor/transmission swaps
- Work with shop equipment such as: tire machine, alignment rack, diagnostic computers, AC equipment, etc
- Work efficiently and effectively
- Deliver high quality customer service
- Keeps work area clean

Qualifications and Experience

- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma
- 5+ years experience as automotive mechanic
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
- Have own tools
- Strong communication skills
- Team oriented
- ASE certified a plus
-Towing experience a plus
