🌊 It’s been a few weeks since our Maritime Explorers Summer STEM Program came to an end, and what a great way to wrap up the summer! The last few weeks were a blast, and we’re so thankful to everyone who signed up, volunteered, and donated to make the program possible. We can’t wait for next year! ⚓💙

Walk the Embarcadero, visit Morro Rock, kayak or paddleboard around the bay, explore local trails, take a stroll down the Cayucos Pier, enjoy live music, or spend some time at the beach!

⚓ And while you’re in Morro Bay, stop by the Morro Bay Maritime Museum and add a little maritime history to your weekend! Free admission, but donations are encouraged!

Love seeing our volunteers in action! 💦⚓
Give our volunteers a power washer, a water de-ionizer, and one of our historic vessels, and they’ll have it looking like new in no time. Keeping the museum and our boats looking their best takes a lot of hard work, and we’re so grateful for the dedicated volunteers who make it happen.

Visitors couldn’t help but stop, watch, and even pull out their cameras! Thank you to our incredible crew for helping keep the Morro Bay Maritime Museum shipshape. Interested in volunteering with us? We’d love to have you aboard!

Our FREE Maritime Explorers Summer STEM Program was filled with hands-on learning, new friendships, and unforgettable adventures by the bay. From exploring maritime history to meeting local experts and discovering marine life, our young explorers made memories that will last a lifetime.

🌊🦀 One of the highlights of our Maritime Explorers Summer STEM Program was a visit from the Central Coast Aquarium and their touch tide pool!

Our young explorers had the opportunity to get up close with fascinating marine life, learn about the incredible creatures that call our coast home, and experience hands-on learning in a fun and engaging way.

A big thank you to the Central Coast Aquarium for bringing this interactive experience to the museum and inspiring the next generation of ocean stewards! đź’™
