GX SAS Update!

We got a Dana 60 and a Sterling 10.5 from a 2016 F250 for the Gx470 SAS project. It’s slow going given how busy we’ve been at the shop, but the rear axle is cleaned and the front is almost cleaned.

This is the not so fun part of the project, but we wanted to document the full experience from start to finish.

Once the axles are cleaned, we have trusses to weld on and mounts for full hydro steering. Then, we’ve got a bit of frame cleaning to do, and it’s on to setting up the front steering and suspension with the axle.

Stoked to work with Far Out Flatbeds on a set of our OEM+ headlights for their shop truck. These guys do incredible work - we can only hope to have a flatbed from them one day!

Rigs and Coffee this weekend was awesome. Such a great turnout of over 50 rigs and 100 people. We get a bigger and bigger variety every month too - shoutout to you Ford, Chevy, and Jeep owners for showing out.

It’s incredible and humbling to have so many people come hang out with us on a random Saturday in August. The community we’re all building is something special.
