We are currently closed as we heal from a motorcycle accident. All work for customers in shop and on the wait list has been vendored out to a trusted trained mechanic who agreed to honor our rates. We will keep you updated when the shop re opens. It will likely be a soft re opening with oil services, clutch adjustments, and brakes till we are able to do more heavy work. Thank you for understanding and the well wishes we have received ♡

Latest update: ted had surgery Friday on his left wrist. He is in a lot of pain but is being a trooper still doing his best around the house and getting vivian in the bath etc. The weekend with vivian was spent vegging out watching her favorite movies with her dad ♡ I had my neurologist appointment and there is a brain injury with a lot of swelling. I will have to go and do extensive treatment and physical therapy for it as well as more testing. He put me on an anti inflammatory diet and 2 pills that make me super sleepy. With having a prior brain surgery and now this the neurologist said another blow to the head would probably be certain death. My P*P had another ultrasound of the leg done and the blood clot is still there hasn't traveled. Its right above my ankle where all the swelling is happening. I think the cast for my arm comes off in 2 weeks, but haven't set an appointment yet, but that will be good so I have a free hand cause I'm still having to use a cane to keep pressure off the right leg. Both ted and me are out of work at the moment so its definitely been rough. But we are alive ♡ it could have been so much worse.

Oh I forgot to add special thanks to Jared Scott Goodale and Sheyenne Ketchum for coming over Tuesday and cooking us a yummy dinner and bringing Taylor to play with vivian. Also to our friend Jake who's not on FB for cooking chilli and hanging out Thursday evening. To Bobby Jordan for all his efforts to help us through his Salty Fallen Biker Fund ♡ we appreciate everything and all our friends who have reached out with help and words of encouragement ♡

This morning I worked on an older Yanmar tractor similar to the one pictured! I was able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix a charging issue in less than 30 minutes! I love being able to help my neighbors by doing what I love the most! Wrenching!

DID YOU KNOW?!

Reasons to have your mower blades cleaned and sharpened....

The biggest reason is that dull blades cause ragged cuts that tear the tops off the grass blades rather than sharply cutting them. Rough cuts result in bigger openings in the grass-blade tips that cause more moisture loss (especially bad in hot, dry weather) and a greater likelihood that diseases will invade the grass.

As you mow, your blades’ main job is to cut grass, but if they are full of debris, are dull, or have knicks it makes it hard to do their job well. If you notice your grass isn’t being cut in even heights, if the blades of grass look as though they’ve been torn instead of sliced, and if your grass blades have brown, frayed edges - it’s time to clean and sharpen.
