Why a Pre-Purchase Inspection is a MUST! 🔍

​We inspected this stunning 2024 Cadillac CT4-V today at a local dealer right here in Ocala, FL! It’s a prime example of why you should never skip a pre-purchase inspection—even on a practically brand-new car.

​This Cadillac has only 5,583 miles on the odometer, but our deep-dive inspection revealed something unexpected: three out of the four tires were manufactured back in 2022! 🤯

​While we aren't certain why a 2024 vehicle with such low mileage has older rubber on three corners, we were able to give our customer the exact truth so they can buy with total confidence. Tires age even when they aren't being driven, meaning these will need to be replaced much sooner than the mileage suggests.

​Today, our crew visited Sellers Funeral Home in Ocala for a different kind of resurrection. We took this majestic Cadillac Hearse and saved its dying Cuescreen from Davy Jones’ locker! 🏴‍☠️🪦

​No more phantom touches or frozen maps. We swapped out the old, fading tech for a shiny new display, swifter than a fresh breeze in the sails. ✨

​This beauty is officially back from the dead and ready to rule the roads! Huge thanks to Sellers Funeral Home for trusting our crew with their prized vessel.

Avast, mateys! Cast your eyes on this 2010 Ford Escape we just hauled in for inspection at Sumter Cars and Trucks Bushnell. While this vessel is mechanically seaworthy in the engine and gears, our crew at Kraken Automotive spotted a few leaks and rattles that could send her to Davy Jones' Locker if left alone.

Our deep-sea dive revealed the steering knuckles be howling like a storm, the brakes be feeling a bit soft and in need of a bleed, and an oil leak springing from the valve cover. We even found a clogged sunroof drain that was trying to turn the cabin into a bathtub! It’s a fine reminder to never buy a new ship without letting the Kraken's eyes look below the waterline first.

Captain Jen emerged from the depths of Ocala this afternoon to inspect a 2017 Toyota Corolla, and we’ve got the seafaring scoop on this vessel.

Our sharp-eyed crew combed every inch of this rig, and we’re happy to report she’s mostly smooth sailing! No leaks to plug and no gremlins in the engine room. However, every great ship has its weak point—we spotted one weary tire that’s ready to be retired to Davy Jones’ Locker.

​Aside from that one bad apple (or barnacle), this Corolla is fit to weather any storm once replaced.
