We want to say first and foremost that the safety of our colleagues is our number one priority especially during winter events like we are currently experiencing. We know that both TN Dept. of Transportation and the county highway departments are still working hard to clear the roads in our area. We also understand that some roads are more accessible than others. After a lot of consideration, Yorozu has made the decision to reopen operations starting on 2nd shift on Wednesday 1/17. This means that 2nd shift, 3rd shift and 1st shift will be operating at their regularly scheduled times this evening and tomorrow morning. We are asking colleagues use their discretion in deciding if they can safely travel to work. Colleagues should use caution when driving and allow yourself plenty of time so that you do not have to rush to get to work.
We have also cleared snow from a lot of areas around the facility including the parking lot and sidewalks, but we still ask that you continue to use caution while walking up to the facility. We hope that everyone stays safe.

After closely monitoring both the road conditions and customer requirements, we have made the decision to cancel production for both 3rd shift on Tuesday night (1/16) and 1st shift on Wednesday (1/17). As of right now it is our expectation to resume normal operations on 2nd shift on Wednesday afternoon.

Even though we will not be running any production tonight or tomorrow, some of our customers need YAT to ship some parts to them during this shutdown period. The shipping and receiving supervisors are contacting some of our shipping & receiving colleagues and asking for volunteers that can safely make it to work both tonight and tomorrow and help with these shipments.

Please continue to safe and warm during this weather event and we hope to see everyone back to work starting tomorrow afternoon. Should anything change, we will continue to notify everyone as soon as possible.

As we continue to evaluate the current weather conditions, we have made the decision to cancel all 2nd shift operations at Yorozu Automotive TN. We are constantly monitoring the weather conditions and will have a decision about any additional shift cancellations this afternoon. We hope that everyone is staying safe and warm during this winter weather. More information to come as soon as possible.

After reviewing the current weather conditions and looking at the future weather forecast, we have decided it is in the best interest of our colleague’s safety to cancel production at Yorozu Automotive Tennessee for 3rd shift on Monday night and 1st shift on Tuesday. We will make a decision regarding 2nd shift for Tuesday no later than 11:00am on Tuesday morning.

We hope that everyone stays warm and safe during this weather event. Should any additional changes to production need to made, we will communicate them as soon as possible.

Performs daily safety patrols and investigates and follows up on all safety concerns.
Supervises employees working on assembly lines.
Maintains pace and quality through motivation and job flow assignments.
Accounts for daily assembly performance output and quality.
Communicates and follows production requirements provided from production schedulers
Assigns work, and enforces organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Identifies and reports quality issues.
Completes work orders, scrap reports, and inventory control reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
Helps to troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or issues and reports issues to appropriate engineering or maintenance staff when help is needed.
High school education or equivalent required and two years experience
Ability to work on either 1st or 3rd shift.

Skills/Knowledge
Ability to effectively and efficiently plan scheduling operations while meeting the customer's expectation.
The ability to plan, direct, coordinate the activities of workers while communicating and enforcing safety and quality requirements, as well as company directives.
Proficient computer skills with knowledge and proven background in working with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), databases, and other production related computer programs.
Ability to learn and implement new computer related software as needed

Education and/or Experience

$60,000 + per year depending on experience.

Process hourly payrolls for US facilities, administer payroll information to the appropriate departments and individuals, verifies all manual time-card entries, verifies all time and attendance entries are consistent with Yorozu’s Attendance policy, reconciles payroll general ledger accounts for accounting, completes month end payroll related processes and reconciliation procedures in order to properly report payroll activity. Ability to respectfully and professionally communicate with all levels of the organization items related to the payroll process.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs including excel and word
• Proficient abilities to learn new software programs.
• Working knowledge of general computer skills including data entry and problem solving
• Must be able to remain confidential with sensitive personal information.

Yorozu Automotive has an opening for four(4) Tool & Die Technicians (2 for 2nd shift and 2 for 3rd shift) to work in our stamping department. The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following task.

• Repairs dies, welding and grinding damaged sections, replacing button dies and punches, adjusting clearances as needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired.
• Operates overhead crane and die wash.
• Enters work performed information into computer daily.
• Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required.
• Performs TPM, by inspects tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
• Troubleshoots die problems in the presses.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Salary equals $23.30 and up depending on experience. + shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift positions + potential attendance incentive.
