Performs daily safety patrols and investigates and follows up on all safety concerns.
Supervises employees working on assembly lines.
Maintains pace and quality through motivation and job flow assignments.
Accounts for daily assembly performance output and quality.
Communicates and follows production requirements provided from production schedulers
Assigns work, and enforces organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Identifies and reports quality issues.
Completes work orders, scrap reports, and inventory control reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
Helps to troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or issues and reports issues to appropriate engineering or maintenance staff when help is needed.
High school education or equivalent required and two years experience
Ability to work on either 1st or 3rd shift.
Skills/Knowledge
Ability to effectively and efficiently plan scheduling operations while meeting the customer's expectation.
The ability to plan, direct, coordinate the activities of workers while communicating and enforcing safety and quality requirements, as well as company directives.
Proficient computer skills with knowledge and proven background in working with Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), databases, and other production related computer programs.
Ability to learn and implement new computer related software as needed

Education and/or Experience
Associates Degree (A.A./A.S.) from an accredited two year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training. OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation
$60,000 + per year depending on experience.
