1/11/2024 UPDATE: In anticipation of another round snow and wind this evening, Cooley Sanitation is running their normal Friday route today (Thursday).

Please allow clear access to your dumpsters, cans, and bags. The safety of our drivers and riders are our top priority!

1/10/2024 COOLEY SANITATION UPDATE: With the poor weather conditions our guys are running a day behind. Please have patience as we are playing catch up. We are planning on picking up garbage for our regular Tuesday and Wednesday garbage customers today.

Please allow clear access to dumpsters, cans, and bags to avoid missing any. CONDITIONS ARE VERY SLICK FOR OUR DRIVERS AND RIDERS. Check back for updates.

UPDATE … Cooley Sanitation is picking up Reinbeck residential garbage and Reinbeck recycling starting at 8 AM this morning within city limits. We’ll be utilizing 2 trucks. Please help us out by making sure your bags or cans are visible from the street. Thank you!

Residential Lincoln, Gladbrook and all rural countryside pickups will be delayed until road conditions improve.

IT’S ALMOST TIME…for the Reinbeck Fall Clean Up!! Bring items to be disposed of to our shop at 307 Main Street from 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, October 14th (rain date 10/21).

Junk items: NO CHARGE/$0/FREE!!!!
Appliances: $20 each
Office equipment: $5 each

Plastics with recycling emblems #1 thru #7 are accepted at the Reinbeck Recycling Center as long as they are clean and free of food or other debris - please read the signage at the RC for more information.

Plastics that are often NOT recyclable include styrofoam, packing materials, items smaller than yogurt containers, motor oil containers, pill bottles, spray pumps from bottles, and plastic lids. Please call our offices at 319-345-6080 if you have questions. Thank you!
