driver side rear quarter panel I always start my body filler out with fiber all as what you see in the picture and got the door jam gap really good so the next step would be to skim over top of this with three and platinum body filler to fill any kind of pin holes and heavy scratch.

I ran out of argon, so I was fine detailing the roof and heavy dance and shrinking metal to get the oil can out of the roof and back stiff again, but I only have a little bit more well to do which is in a passenger side door, jam, and the lower rear quarter on the passenger side and a little bit of the window channel left on the passenger side as well in the rear Then my welding is 100% done then I can start skim coat in a quarter panels and the roof for his bodywork maybe starting tomorrow since I don’t have no more gas at the moment. This brown is a is that a rust protection barrier. Then I come back and scuffed up and put my body work over top of it on older cars. I don’t like to put bodywork fresh on bare metal due to any kind of moisture happen to get up part of the body work at a bubble. So I take an extra step and do this and never had no trouble.

I got the roof all dialed in far as the oil can and a wrinkle roof and pulled out so many dents and dings that were pretty big in the roof and got them tightened up so no more loose metal now I think I had to do a final skim coat on the roof as far as bodywork and then I’ll be done, but instead I like to spray a rust protection down, then I’ll come back over and scuff it up and start laying my body over top of that.

Already hear some pictures of the Trans Am roof about a quarter of it done and I’ll try to get the rest of it done tomorrow. A lot of slow tedious work a pulling and tapping and heat shrink in the metal and filing but it’s coming along pretty good. I am about 75% maybe 80 I’ve done with all the body work and welding after the roof. I have one more section to weld in on the passenger side rear quarter panel then I’m ready for primer but still a lot of slow work involved to get it right and make it look new again.

And the picture where I have the RED ARROW that is the left side of the roof that I worked on for hours and hours today a pulling heat shrinking and tapping around to get it back in shape

Working on the roof of this Trans Am today since I finished up the windshield and the tea top channels now the roof needs a lot of TLC before somebody filled in the roof three-quarter inch body filler, but I’m taking it all back out and there’s a lot of oil can in the roof that I have to fix and heat shrink and a lot of little pulling in. They try to work all the dents back out of the roof so all I have to do is lightly skim coated so there won’t be no heavy body filler but it’s gonna take a lot of time as I’m pulling in with a dent puller and filing with a file that took all my low spots to get it really really close so I only have to do a light skin coat on the roof. I got about a quarter of it done today. Be back on again tomorrow I’m getting closer and closer to the end not much more left to do.

Got some of the back window channels replaced and welder back in cleaned up the inside quarter panels and put some black epoxy and a friend of Wells before the new quarter panel goes on and did some seam ceiling and a quarter panels. Also go to extra mile to do the extra work. It really pays off in the long run
