It’s time to shift my focus and get this wagon done! It’s one of those projects that just keeps on giving everytime you look at it. Yes… I’ve been bugged on when will it be done? or does it run? What’s left on it? Honestly I’ve been chasing a wiring glemlin that hasn’t been the most fun to tackle but thanks to and we are super close. Next few big ticket items will be the interior and getting the body panels gapped out right along with all the glass installed. May have to call in some recruits but I am focused now. Huge thank you to and all the knowledge, encouragement and help on this project. They have truly gone above and beyond.

Had a great weekend with here in Columbus in the showing off the 63 Church Boys coupe. This little ride is Chuck Sr. personal car and he graced me with being able to drive it. This is my 2nd year behind the wheel for them in this car BUT we made a few changes! First off this little couple has a stock front clip with all the Church Boys bolt on goodies including their rack n pinion and out back is their triangles 4 link. Under the hood there is a Gen V Lt1(right up my alley) backed by a 4l60. We freshened the car with some RT660+ along with some new wheels. We struggled on day one with alignment but made some changes Friday night as we came out swinging with a different attitude Saturday. I got bumped from the shootout by one spot on a technicality but redeemed myself this afternoon by jumping from 5th to 2nd. It was a great battle in the Street Car class between the top 3 as we all literally swapped places all day long. Congrats on the class win and shootout win but coming in second with a 235 front tire car makes me smile ear to ear. There are BIG things coming for Church Boys for next year….. Street machine and perhaps other classes better watch out! Thank you Chuck Sr and Church Jr along with the entire CBR team for hosting me. I look forward to more in the future!

Looking for a 1973-74 GMC stepside that was sold in San Jose Ca around 1988-89 at my dads boat shop called Boater Emporium. I was the 5 year old boy that sold it on the lot while my dad was inside working. Guy purchased it on the spot. Maybe it’s still around maybe not. It had Boaters Emporium on the side of it!
