A code gives our technicians information about where to start looking. From there, the real work is figuring out WHY the code appeared and what’s actually causing the problem.

Your windshield may be doing more than keeping the wind out of your face.

Many newer vehicles have cameras and sensors around the windshield that support features like lane departure warnings and collision alerts. After certain windshield repairs or replacements, those systems may need to be calibrated so they know exactly where they’re looking.

A battery can seem perfectly fine right up until the morning it struggles to start your car.

As temperatures get cooler, the chemical reactions inside a battery slow down, while your engine still needs plenty of power to start. If the battery is already aging or losing strength, cooler mornings can make that weakness much more noticeable.

Slower cranking, electrical issues, or needing a jump are signs worth paying attention to. But you don’t have to wait for those symptoms. Testing can give us a better idea of your battery’s condition before it leaves you stuck.

An alignment isn’t something we eyeball and say, “Yep, looks straight.”

Our Hunter alignment equipment measures the angles of your wheels so we can see whether they’re positioned where they should be.

Why does that matter? When those angles are off, you may notice the vehicle pulling, a steering wheel that doesn’t sit straight, or tires wearing unevenly. Sometimes the tires show us there’s an alignment problem before the driver notices anything from behind the wheel.

October is Fall Car Care Month, and we’re starting where your vehicle meets the road: your tires.

As temperatures start to cool, the air inside your tires contracts, which can lower tire pressure. Even a small change can affect how your tires wear, how the vehicle handles, and how much contact your tires maintain with the road.

Tread matters, too. Uneven or excessive wear can reduce traction and can sometimes point to an alignment, suspension, or tire pressure issue that needs a closer look.

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. It includes safety features like lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and other systems that use cameras and sensors to help monitor the road.
