Look how far the rumble strips are behind the white line.
By the time you hit the rumble strip while you are texting or what ever else that has you pre occupied you have already killed a tow truck driver.
This is exactly what happened to Troy the POS watching his utube on his oversize monitor in the windshield riding the white line knocking him off his truck and killing him. And never touching the rumble strips.
I will say this the new blacktop they are laying between morehead and Wi******er is now the way it is suppose to be the rumble strips are in the white and yellow lines i would bet my life Troy would be here today if the rumble strips would had been in the white line the day he lost his life doing his last call.

Well i was interviewed my WKYT today.
Pretty much on how we deal with day to day operations and how we deal with working the fatalities accidents.
I ain’t going to lie it gets tough sometimes.
Loosing Troy was one of the hardest things i ever had to deal with.

Tow operators say every scene is different, but memories of the most serious crashes often stay with them.

Another long hard sad night Head on collision claims the life’s of a couple and possibly the driver of the other vehicle who was flown out with life threatening injuries.
Another construction bag full of parts.
Prayers for the families involved

This is really sad 😡 I am setting app 1ft over the white line and this suv came flying by with no one in the fast lane to stop them from getting over 😡
I just wonder how close would they got to him if i hadn’t been there 😡

Helping a tow brother out today on hwy 32 near the big dig.
As you can see there is absolutely no room to work the controls on the passenger side.
I don’t know why but people just won’t get over on this stretch of road hardly at all.

Got a call from a customer needing help with their tractor.
I first took the Jeep then quickly realized that i needed Pete since the tractor wouldn’t run and needed pulled straight sideways.
Pete made quick work on this one sorry no recovery pics the flashing lights blurred them all
