Luckily I spotted this broken vent. This is actually being used as a "roof vent", not a plumbing vent.
No pipe involved, and you can see the bedroom ceiling through that hole.
Possibly a new hole accidently made when customer was sweeping his roof off.
I was there to winterize, and I try to inspect things to help folks out.
Ill be heading back to install a better type of vent for this application.
They would have had a squirrel family as residents by spring.

Often replacing the brakes it is best to make it all new.
Drums, loaded backing plates, new bearings etc.
Rusty, greasy, or worn out is nearly certain if many miles, or years old.
In other notes
I am busy, nearly every day. RV work, Race cars, yard work, or helping with my wife Kim's business.
I'll be cutting back of any work that is difficult to know how long it takes.
So fewer "troubleshooting" of weird acting furnaces etc.
I also injured a should some, so awning work is painful.
Winterizing??? Plan accordingly also. I can only do a few per week.

Following up after dealership did their typical things.
-yes, they left the wrapper material on roof vent cover.
- yes, they put the steering assist shock in backwards.
- then washing a roof, replacing door latch etc.
Too hot for additional work on the roof today. I was cooking up there.
Cool to have regular customers that come back year after year.

Furnace replaced this week. Yes, it was putting exhaust into the RV.
Luckily caught. I will strongly suggest co / gas sensor is replaced even if less thatn 5 years old. This could have been bad.
About 10 year old furnace.
