It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our former owner, my uncle, and my dear friend, Rick Carrahger
Garden State Diesel will never be the same without him. We will deeply miss his incredible knowledge and wisdom, his guidance, the stories, the joking around, and simply having him there.
Rick was a great mentor to so many and a true pioneer in the diesel industry. He dedicated his life to this business and this industry, beginning his career in the early 1970s. Over the years, he shared his knowledge and experience with countless people and earned the respect of so many along the way.
For those of us at Garden State Diesel, Rick was much more than a former owner. He was family, a friend, a teacher, and an important part of what made GSD what it is today.
His knowledge, his personality, and the impact he made on all of us will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Rick. You will be greatly missed, but your legacy will always be a part of Garden State Diesel.
