So, a little about who I am.
I’ve been a car enthusiast for as long as I can remember. Oddly enough, it started when I was around 10 years old. I’d wash my mom’s car just because I enjoyed it, weird right? I had no idea that years later, that simple hobby would turn into something people would actually pay me to do.
After retirement and having served 20 plus years in the military, I needed something to keep me busy, I couldn’t just sit still. I took a gig at a local detail shop, not because I needed it, but because I wanted to learn more and sharpen my skills for the next step.
As my skills grew, I started seeing a small vision that I finally put into action. I bought a trailer, stepped out on faith, and started Diamond Touch Auto Spa LLC with a few friends. Since then they’ve gone on to pursue their own careers, while I’ve continued building Diamond Touch one detail at a time.
Today, the trailer has become a fully equipped van, and every dollar I earn gets poured right back into our community, our family, better equipment and better services.
People often ask why I only work from 9 to 3. The answer is simple. Those are the hours my kids are in school. This has never been about chasing the dollar. It’s something that allows me to provide for my family without missing the moments that matter most. When the school bell rings, I’m Dad first.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate to meet some incredible people. Many of my very first customers are still with me today, and countless local businesses have trusted me enough to refer their own customers. I’ve always believed that’s how a community should work, we support each other, and everyone grows together.
It hasn’t always been easy. There have been plenty of setbacks, long days, and life has thrown more than a few wrenches my way. But through it all, I’ve remained a one-man operation, focused on quality over quantity and treating every vehicle like it’s my own and not a conveyer belt.
I’m grateful for every client who’s trusted me, every referral that’s been sent my way, and everyone who’s been part of this journey. So if you’re looking for someone who takes their time, isn’t burnt out after years in the business and just a great overall experience, I’ll be your huckleberry 😎
