The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close Franklin Lock January 4–March 1, 2027, followed by Ortona Lock March 1–April 30, 2027, for maintenance.

River Forest’s Moore Haven facility will remain accessible from the east via the Okeechobee Waterway.
