Swipe through the photos and tell me this isn't peak BMW.
I've been driving this '99 M3 most of the week and can say it's without a doubt a top 5 car of the 90's.
Finding a truly honest example has become incredibly difficult. This one is the car I've been looking for and it's so darn fun to drive.
Finished in Titanium Silver over Gray leather and fitted with a 5-speed manual, it's everything that made BMW's M division legendary. The 3.2-liter inline-six delivers power with a smooth, mechanical feel that's completely different from today's turbocharged performance cars. 240hp might not sound impressive but it's more than enough. It's not about chasing numbers—it's about the connection between car and driver.
What struck me most is just how right-sized it feels. Park it next to a modern M3 and you'll be shocked by how compact the E36 is. You can place it exactly where you want on the road, visibility is fantastic, and every drive is just well, fun. The steering talks to you, the shifter rewards you, and the entire car feels alive in a way that's becoming increasingly rare.
And then there's the condition. This one is clean...including inside. Every button is crisp, everything works as it should, and yes—even every single pixel in the dash and onboard computer lights up perfectly. If you've owned an E36, you know that's worth celebrating.
Perfect proportions, subtle aggression, and timeless styling that looks as good today as it did in 1999.
Cars like this are getting harder to find, and after spending the week with it, I can confidently say this is one of the nicest E36 M3s I've driven in a very long time.
