Moody AFB Autocross/Auto Racing Club - Open to anyone that enjoys the adrenaline of racing and owns a car or truck capable of it but no where to properly (legally) utilize it. Autocross is a cone course track setup to be technical, fun, and safe. It can be fast or slow, that's all in the driver's skill. Do you have a car or truck that you've dumped thousands of dollars into and want to be able to utilize all of the mods that you've done? Do you have a stock car and just enjoy the rush of cornering? You don't have to own a "Racecar" to "race" a car! Want to learn how to race but not sure where to start? This is the type of racing for you! We all have to start somewhere, and autocross is the least expensive and easiest racing you can learn. It's not very hard on vehicles at all, even daily drivers can handle it! We will start out by organizing ride outs to the local races around this area of the country, with intentions on trying to get a place on base to do our own events. The Red Hills Region SCCA holds events once per month in Moultrie, GA at Spence Field, and once per year at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel, GA for the Championship series. You do not have to be competitive in the SCCA to go out and just have a good time!
