Stay informed: operational update as of 07/14/26 at 8:35 am. With current lake level of 201.08 feet above mean sea level (conservation pool is 201 feet) a lake outflow of 529 cubic feet per second has begun. SJRA begins preparing 120 hours in advance of forecasted inclement weather by checking equipment, software, and generators. We are prepared to mobilize for 24/7 operations should they be necessary.

SJRA continues to monitor lake conditions, the forecast, and coordinate with local and state partners including City of Houston, MCOHSEM, and National Weather Service Houston-Galveston. stay weather aware by following official forecasts and emergency management updates. Just a friendly reminder make sure your boat is secured and won't float away on you! Also be mindful of your tower if you have a cover on your boat slip.
