HMMA Team Members once again demonstrated their commitment to supporting the local community through this year’s annual food drive.

Team Members contributed $14,575 to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank, and in recognition of their generosity, HMMA provided an additional $15,000 corporate donation, bringing the total contribution to $29,575. This combined effort will help provide nearly 150,000 meals for individuals and families in need across the region.

Special recognition goes to the top-contributing group, comprised of many members of the Quality Control team, led by Team Member Rosalind Howard. Their collective effort played a significant role in the success of this drive.

Together, HMMA and its Team Members continue to make a meaningful difference in the communities they serve.

HMMA recently hosted its 2nd-annual College Fair for Team Members interested in growing both personally and professionally. We’re proud that our certification and tuition assistance program (TCAP) continues to make a difference, helping offset the cost of continuing education and opening new opportunities for so many across our team.

Thank you to all of the colleges and universities who participated. We can’t wait to do it again!

From classroom to competition to center stage!

HMMA’s “Manufacturing the Future with Hyundai” program is shaping the next generation of innovators—giving Montgomery middle school students real-world experience in engineering, design, and developing mobility solutions.

After weeks of hands-on learning and pitching bold ideas to a panel of judges, the top five teams took the stage at Awards Night to present their “Car of the Future” concepts to family, peers, and our community.

Congratulations to all participants, and to Floyd Middle School, this year’s overall winner.

The future of manufacturing isn’t ahead of us—it’s already here.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama is proud to support the Alabama Wildlife Federation through a $50,000 donation that will help bring a new interactive gopher tortoise habitat to life at the Alabama Nature Center.

This investment strengthens our long-standing partnership with AWF and will fund a hands-on, crawl-through exhibit inside the Discovery Hall, giving students and families a unique way to explore Alabama’s longleaf pine ecosystem and learn about the importance of conservation.

The Alabama Nature Center welcomes thousands of students from across the state each year for field trips and outdoor learning experiences. We’re honored to help support education, environmental stewardship, and meaningful learning opportunities for future generations. alabamawildlife.org/

HMMA participated in Wilson Elementary School’s Career Day Expo on April 23, engaging students in grades Pre K through fifth grade in career exploration. HMMA Team Members introduced students to the many different kinds of jobs that help keep the plant running, giving them an overview of the people and roles involved in building vehicles. Students also received HMMA giveaway items and enjoyed an up close look at HMMA’s SPOT robot, which quickly became a highlight of the event. Career Day provided an opportunity for HMMA to connect with the local community, encourage curiosity, and inspire students to think about future possibilities.
