CORVETTE NATION LET’S TALK TIRE SHINE!
I’ve tried a LOT of tire shine products over the years, but Crystal Untouchable Tire Shine has given me one of the highest-gloss finishes I’ve come across!
When you’ve spent time washing and detailing your Corvette, the tires can either complete the look or take away from it. A good tire shine should do more than just make the tire look wet for a few minutes.
For me, a GOOD tire shine should:
Give the tire a deep, rich black appearance
Produce a high-gloss, wet-look finish
Apply evenly without leaving dull or blotchy areas
Dry properly so you’re not slinging product all over the side of the car
Hold up long enough that you’re not reapplying it every time you pull out of the garage
Make those wheels and tires look like the finishing touch they’re supposed to be!
And if you’re after that SHOW-CAR WET LOOK, Crystal Untouchable Tire Shine definitely caught my attention.
One tip: Always start with a clean, dry tire. Old dressing, dirt and brake dust can keep a tire shine from bonding evenly. Apply a controlled coat, let it settle and dry, and then decide whether you want another coat for even more gloss.
On a Corvette especially with a clean set of wheels that deep black, high-gloss tire finish can completely change the appearance of the car.
