We mostly have Mallards out here on Lake Conroe 🦆 The females are usually all different shade of brown. The males have the colorful green heads mallards are best known for having. Piedy here came from Momma Duck and Harold back in 2023. As you can see, Piedy has very distinct white markings on her wings and neck. It’s very unique! I was blessed to be able to make friends with the all babies that season. It’s not common to get all of them to eat from my hands like in this video. Well, Piedy is all grown up and has come back to the docks after not seeing her for over a year. Last time I saw her she had been injured and she came back to heal up for a few weeks.
