Hot rods are usually associated with American muscle cars but Porsches enthusiasts have taken that term and have made its own category of hot rods around the 911 platform. This hot rod is an air cooled powered by 4 CAM motor. Custom colored Fuchs and other bits change the appearance but not to deviate away from its original design. We approve of this hot rod build!

Built by The Keen Project, this Safari built 911 Turbo is number 36 of 36 and is one of our favorites. Due to our extensive knowledge in Air-Cooled Porsches, this car was brought to us to address service and maintenance items. Though we didn’t get a chance to drive the car on trails, we were able to get some seat time around our shop, and this thing is just as fast as some modern day Turbos! What a joy it was to spend some time with this 911 👍

Our customer wanted to lower his 991 to give it a more sporty stance while enhancing the handling so he opted for lowering springs which lowered the car about 1.2” front and 1” rear. OEM+ always looks great and now handles even better 👍
