109 degrees didn’t stop GPG 6. 🔥
Round 3 of our Gear Performance Groups brought GPG 6 to Seiko's Auto Service in California for a shop review and a closer look at how the way we communicate affects our people, our customers, and the shop as a whole. Big shoutout to the Seiko’s team for opening up their shop and hosting us!
The group dug into the communication network, looking at how understanding the people around you and adapting the way you communicate can strengthen relationships, build trust, and help the whole shop work better together.
One takeaway worth bringing back to the shop: strong communication starts with understanding who’s in front of you. Adjusting your pace, tone, timing, and level of detail can make a big difference in how your message is received and understood.
Good people, good conversations, and somehow, nobody melted completely. 😂
Curious what happens when you put a group of auto repair shop owners in a room together and let them dig into each other’s businesses? 👀 See what Gear Performance Groups are all about: https://www.wearetheinstitute.com/shop-owner-performance-groups
