What an amazing way to end the season! Thank you to everyone who made it to DriftCon Afterdark on Saturday. It’s always a huge challenge to have three separate competitions in a single event. This made for an incredibly tight schedule, but we were glad to have finished everything before our 10pm noise curfew. We had little margin as we finished up team tandem minutes before the deadline which was non-negotiable this year.
We appreciate the Team Tandem Finale drivers for working with the changes to the schedule.
Thank you to all the drivers, car show competitors, media, volunteers, and Evergreen Speedway staff who made everything possible. Special shout-out to our friends from Canada and the out of state drivers who made the long trip to the NW.
We appreciate our announcers and for handling the announcing duties for the day. They make such a great team and their announcing continues to educate and entertain the crowd.
All three sets of judges did a great job, and we value their experience when it came to deciding the winner on some close battles.
