Backyard MR2 Parts

Backyard MR2 Parts Purchased my first 88 MR2 in 2005 after selling the world's (at the time) highest horsepower 96 Corvette GrandSport

Small operation just southeast of Charlotte, NC. We've done everything from designing custom body work to full engine rebuilds and swaps. I'm doing some service work now as well as getting on a pile of project cars (most rebuilding to sell, so keep an eye out). I'm I-CAR gold certified with 5 more credit hours than needed for their platinum status. We sell LOTS of used MR2 parts and some other 80's Toyota used parts as well.

Any of my local MR2 folks after a Clutch Masters FX100 kit for a turbo MR2 (91-95)? Brand new in box, cleaning out the garage. I've got a kit for my Turbo already and found this brand new in box kit in some parts I got years back when we moved from a friend to sell off. Kit looks good other than a tiny bit of rust on one edge of the pressure plate which shouldn't impact function with where it is located. Looks like most of this stuff got wet at some point prior to getting to me in my enclosed garage here, so a few things are bad and just need throwing out (like some stereo remotes), while some stuff was sealed in bags and boxes and are good still, like this kit. New these retail for like $550, but we're dealin' here. I don't want this on the shelf long, so how about $300?? You're getting the "it has been opened discount" and "someone let it get wet" discount stacked on top of each other. I'll probably list it $50 higher on ebay to cover fees on there.

Nothing in the kit has any water damage other than the VERY edge of that pressure plate surface... that'd have been on the bottom of the box so it probably had some water get to the bottom of the box on one side or edge or something is my guess. Looks to me like it would be off the gripping/mating surface so shouldn't be an issue.

Part number 16061-HD00

Can ship for actual cost, have a medium flat rate box (the old style they discontinued) that this should fit in. Think that's sub $20 shipping, but I'd have to check (all these price increases in the last 3-4 months might have bumped it higher than I realize). Good grief, I just looked, these used to be like $15 bucks, now $25 basically... so yeah, I can ship it for $25 to anywhere in the US I believe in the medium flat rate.

As usual, been adding more parts the last few weeks... mostly first gen stuff here lately.

As usual, been adding more parts the last few weeks... mostly first gen stuff here lately.

I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1999, got my first MR2 (pictured) in 2005 and fell in love with these things (came from modified Corvettes and Mustangs and stumbled into the MR2). Started working on them for friends almost immediately and buying parts cars, at first to have spare parts, t...
