Position Summary
Cenla RV Center is seeking a customer-focused PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) & Walkthrough Specialist to ensure every customer leaves confident and excited about their new RV. This role serves as the final step in the sales process by performing thorough pre-delivery inspections, coordinating with the service department, and conducting comprehensive customer orientations covering the operation, maintenance, and care of their RV.
The ideal candidate is personable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
-Complete detailed pre-delivery inspections on all sold RVs prior to customer pickup.
-Verify all appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, slide-outs, awnings, leveling systems, entertainment systems, and safety equipment are fully operational.
-Identify and communicate any needed repairs or adjustments to the service department.
-Confirm the RV has been cleaned, stocked, and prepared for delivery.
-Ensure manufacturer and dealership quality standards are met before customer delivery.
-Complete all required PDI documentation accurately and on time.
Customer Walkthroughs
-Conduct professional and engaging customer orientations.
-Demonstrate operation of all major RV systems, including:
-Electrical and battery systems
-Fresh, gray, and black water systems
-LP gas system
-Water heater
-Air conditioning and furnace
-Refrigerator
-Slide-outs
-Awnings
-Leveling systems
-Entertainment components
-Towing and hitching basics (when applicable)
-Answer customer questions and ensure they understand proper operation and maintenance.
-Provide maintenance recommendations and ownership tips.
-Create a positive and memorable delivery experiences.

Customer Experience
-Deliver an exceptional level of customer service that reflects Cenla RV Center's family-owned values.
-Help customers feel confident and comfortable before leaving the dealership.
-Coordinate delivery timing with sales, finance, and service departments.
-Follow up on customer concerns as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
-Maintain a clean, organized delivery area.
-Stay current on new RV models, features, and technology.
-Attend manufacturer and dealership training.
-Assist with inventory movement and preparation when needed.
-Promote dealership accessories and products that enhance the customer's camping experience.

Required
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Basic mechanical aptitude.
-Ability to learn RV systems and components.
-Comfortable speaking in front of individuals and families.
-Ability to work weekends as needed.
Preferred
-Previous RV, automotive, marine, powersports, or technical service experience.
-Experience performing customer demonstrations or product training.
-Knowledge of towable RVs and fifth wheels.
-Experience using dealership management software.
