Slinging clay since 1970, Monett Raceway is the longest continually-running dirt track in the Show-Me State. The 3/8-mile red clay oval was built in 1970 by Bob Schofield who promoted the track for a couple of years. Randy Mooneyham was at the helm for the majority of the track's existence until it was sold to Kyle Slagle in 2017. The track was acquired in 2023, and along with new ownership the track got a fresh new name in Monett Raceway.

Drivers we all have had or still have a crew guys that tells you to go high or go low or you should of done this or should of done that on the track. Well now its time to reverse the roll and put them in the driver seat and see how good they are then you tell them the same stories they always tell you.

Most all drivers have a female friend now is there chance to put the suit on and helmet on and make some laps in the powder puff race.

These races will be held for each class. Each race will be held after weekly races conclude. Amount of laps will be determined by car count.

Prize will be a trophy to the winner home made trophies at that. And bragging rights to the normal driver that your better than they are.

Must of paid a pit pass suit and helmet required and racevier.

Must sign up with cheyenne by intermission.

Im the mean time comment who is planning to drive in either race???

As the season winds down I would like to say a few things on behalf of my crew. As most people know this is our first year taking the track over. We went into the season with the intent to give racers a place to race. To have a laid back atmosphere. To give the fans a place to come on saturday nights for affordable entertainment. This past saturday was our points championship night. So many people told us we couldn't do it but we have now made it past championship night further than previous years. It has not been easy it hasn't always been fun. Were not done we got some more action still to come this season. Now I have to brag on my crew if it wasnt for these people week in and week out we would of never made it this far. I will not sit here and take credit for making it this far each one my crew had a big part in us getting to where we are. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that people dont see from power washing equipment to emptying trash cans to cleaning the concession stand to ordering all the products we sell each week to stocking all the products and ensuring you fans have cold products and hot products on race day. Please thank these individuals for helping giving you fans a place to attend each week and giving you drivers a place to race each week.
