Post #2 on the 2019 Suburban L5P swap.
After almost a year after buying the Suburban, with much patience, we FINALLY found a donor truck for the swap (so we thought).

The intention for the donor Duramax was to use the frame and front clip for the suburban. As the factory 19 suburban front end looks gay. We are going for the heavy duty truck front end look with a functional hood scoop! Since this build is intended for the daily driver replacement for my wife's extended cab 2007 classic , she still wanted the ability to pull a trailer, sled pull, get groceries and haul our 3 little diesel attitude's around.

Purchased at auction, sight unseen, we brought it home, only to realize the frame was bent, the injectors and modules had been copped, the engine was locked up and not a straight panel on it. We took a gamble and lost. We were left to start the search all over again.

First, we're looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic at Diesel Attitude!

Secondly, we have been meaning to showcase this project and it's progress. This is the beginning of our first 2019 Suburban Duramax L5P swap. We are approaching the completion very soon and will continue to post photos of its journey. More to come!
