Friday, September 4th - Drivers - it's time to shake off the rust, get those bugs out in preparation for remainder of the 2026 season.

All Classes are invited. ***Mini Dwarfs & Outlaw Karts WILL NOT be practicing ***

Cost is $35 per person (driver, crew members, family, friends, and kids of ALL ages [ages 3 and older]). CASH ONLY.

Pits will open at 3:30 pm with sweep around 3:15 pm.

Practice will not begin until 6:30 pm and will go until 9:30 pm

The registration covers all 3 days. It is the same if you are running 1 or 2 days.

Pit Passes are NOT included. Those will be purchased in person the day of.

These prices are good until November 1st - when a $25 late fee will kick in.
All registrations done on-site will be CASH only! (and will be $225/$175/$125).

Once you have registered, feel free to send Rachel ([email protected]) an on-track, high quality (preferred) picture of the race car. Be sure to include your name, hometown, and the photographer's name.

🏁 ISLAND ICE DRIVER STICKER WALL 🏁

Drivers:
Let's help Island Ice get this wall going. If you have a decal with your car, number, name you can take it to Island Ice on race night, drop it off at any event you see her at in the community, or make arrangements to get it Rachel and she will get it to them.

Once 10 teams are reached, she will be doing a drawing for a free item on the menu!!!

The Driver will choose his favorite and his crew will choose their favorite. Those 2 entries will win 4 general admission tickets to the races Saturday night, September 5th.

We will also draw from all entries for 2 general admission tickets for Saturday night, September 5th (can only win once)

Deadline to "enter" is Friday, August 28th.
Winners will be announced on Sunday, August 30th.

Steve LaFond is at it again.......on track to make the 35th Annual LaFond Jar of Change ANOTHER record year.

How can you help, you ask? Start saving that change and bring it to the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC CRA Sprint Car Series race on October 10th where Lance Jennings will be collecting. Or you can reach out to Rachel Clark to make arrangements (between now and October 21st).

Remember no amount is too small!!!

A few notable dates that you want to make sure to mark on your calendar to join us at Mohave Valley Raceway.

September 5th - Return from Summer break with the 4th Annual Jerry Dodd Memorial with the Living Waters Hospice IMCA/Street Stocks are $1000 to win. Racing starts at 7:30 pm.

October 10th - the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and the Southwest EcoTech Midget Racing return.

October 17th - finds AZ Flattrack Racing making a "fall" trip this year. If there are any drivers who would like to join them and have questions, please reach out to them directly.

Closing out the 2026 season happens on November 12th - 14th with the 2nd Annual Duel at Mohave with IMCA Modified, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Stock Car, and IMCA Hobby Stock drivers from all over joining us to battle it out for hefty paydays.
