15 years between these two photos… and a whole lot of faith in between. 🙏🏼
In that top photo, I stood alone as a female tinter, hoping people would trust me enough to give me a chance.
I had just closed a major chapter of my life and stepped into the scariest one yet going out on my own. From tinting with my son’s dad a “legend installer to just .. ME.
I remember customers asking, “Who’s going to tint my car?” and sometimes I would almost shake saying, “Me.”
Was I the best tinter? No. I’m still not here to claim I’m the best. But I became the best version of myself I could be, and I promised every customer my best work, my best service, and everything I had.
Back then, being a woman standing alone in this industry wasn’t as common as it is today. I had insecurities. I had fear. But I also had faith.
I remember looking at the bigger building next to my little shop, thinking, “Maybe one day I’ll have a place like that.” Never could I have imagined that one day I would actually be in that building not only tinting, but teaching, mentoring, and empowering other women who may have the same fears I once had.
That bottom photo means more to me than I can explain. ❤️
To every person who trusted me when I was still learning to trust myself thank you.
The journey isn’t over. Today, I get to empower people one course at a time, change lives, and remind women that there is a place for us in this industry.
God, keep using me. 🙏🏼
If this is my purpose to teach, inspire, open doors, and help change lives then I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
I once stood alone. Now I get to help others stand beside me. 💙 Still writing my book
Ps … thanks to my brother Albert reminding me I was more then I gave myself credit for 💜 and helping me build strength in the shop 💋
