As the weather warms up and you take your motorcycle out for spring, it’s time to refresh more than just your ride; it’s time to reset your safety habits, too.
After months off the road, take a few extra minutes to inspect your bike: check your tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels, and make sure your gear still fits properly and hasn’t worn down over time. A quick pre-ride check can make all the difference.
Drivers aren’t always expecting motorcycles, especially early in the season. Stay visible, ride defensively, and assume you haven’t been seen. Increase your following distance and be extra cautious at intersections.
And for drivers...motorcycles are back. Take a second look before changing lanes or turning. Sharing the road saves lives.
Start the season smart. Ride safe and enjoy the road ahead. 🏍️
