So when i first got to states in 89 and was working for hot rod shop, this turns up outside, you dont often see 2 40 lincoln continentals turn up on a tow truck, and on top of the ,they were delivered by Ed Haggerty from Deal Autowrecking!!id also remember this truck turn up every year to Turlock swapmeet with two interesting vehicles every year, i remember one yr he had a 70 challenger convertible on it and it was $5k!those were the days.

Ok if you want to do a job that makes you want to retire from mechanicing here it is!!!pull the dash cluster from a 1956 buick, if i got out from between dash and steering column and front seat less than 35 times for different sockets wrenches pliers etc then ill eat my hat!!!,so this morning after all that and having bruised middle of my back from hanging over rocker , i decided to pull front seat!idiot should have done that in the begining. As i have new set carpets for it anyway, only silver lining is the floors in this car are nothing less than perfect and whoever ends up with this car is getting about mintest orig body as youll ever get!plus the speedo will work accurate. I gaurantee ill have no less than 8 hrs prob 10 to do this job and have alot less skin on my arms!hopefully bruising will be gone by time cluster comes back ready to installšŸ˜šŸ¤£

Huge backyard estate sale this morning in Sacramento, this place was your run of mill hoarder with little walking pathways through back yard, a ton of model A parts sheetmetal frames etc i counted 9 banjo style rear ends ,a 41 ford convertible, all sorts of bumpers,trim ,doors etc, and guess what , did not spend a dollar and walked away thinking i hadnt missed out on anything either so was heading homewards before 8am after a 5am.start.

This 34 was a long distance car by looks, these other two unique car had some serious owner modified vehicles , these guys definately thought outside the box, alot of weird and neat stuff on these cars .the more you looked the more you see.!
