Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the Birthday Wishes yesterday celebrating my annual 39th Birthday. Yep, another one in the books. But whose counting.

Paul, wrote a song for me that tells everyone they should be Thankful for every birthday. It has a great "hook" to it. Stop by and ask him to play it for you.

Thanks again. See you for next year's 39th Annual Birthday Bash.

BTW: New shirt coming soon.

A few days ago, Paul posted some photos of a McLaren that was at the MBVMC meeting last Thursday. For some reason, what he edited and posted is not what is presented here on Facebook. Why? Who knows...so, let's blame the algorithm. But sometime, the photos are compressed way too much. But, that's another story.

So, Paul went back and downloaded all the photos again, edited them again and, today, will post them again. Why? Because, it's Paul. And, the car is magnificent and needs to be presented properly...well, that's what Paul said. And, I would have to agree.

So, below are the photos...again...btw, he found one he did not post earlier...is it just me or does the picture of the hood look like it's smiling? Well, what hood would not smile if it had a McLaren logo stuck to it.

Enjoy, and have a great weekend...Happy Father's Day.

Wow, can't believe it's Friday evening already and time to close up. I haven't done this in a while, but it just needs to be done. "Thank You" to everyone who made this week awesome.

So many of our customers stopping by, especially during the Mobile Bay Vintage Motorcycle Club club meeting this past Thursday evening made our week.

Some good riding weather this weekend, but looks like ending with rain. So ride safe and keep your head on a swivel...there are "cages" among us.

We have our sound system loud as we close out the week with Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell with Dave Mason on Vocals. "Feelin' Alright".

See you on Tuesday...

Tonight was the monthly meeting of the Mobile Bay Vintage Motorcycle Club at Rosie’s 1901 in Mobile AL. And while there is a lot of talk an discussions about all types of motorcycles, we also find time to talk about exotic sports cars. Especially, when it’s a McLaren.

You just never know what will show up at Rosie’s 1901. 3200 Halls Mill Road. Mobile, AL.

Well, it was a week ago the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride departed Rosie's 1901 to Bill E's in Fairhope. Everyone I talked with had a great time.

First timers of the DGR had never been to Rosie's 1901, and have already been back for second look and chat in the Rosie Room.

If you haven't been by to see us, stop by on your lunch break and sit a spell. Or, if you are retired, this is a great place to get some coffee and sit a spell.

Paul, finished the photos last night from the DGR 2026 and they are posted below. Again, thanks for everyone showing up for a great cause.

Well, we got our new bike, 2024 BMW f900gs Aventurer, inspected, washed and dryed and back on the showroom.

Next week Paul takes it for it’s 1st inspection to a nearby BMW dealer as the bike is still in BMW Warranty until May 31st of 2028…which makes it even more attractive.

First impressions on this bike are off the charts. Most impressed Paul has been about a bike in a very long time. You better hurry before he decides to keep it for himself.

One of Paul's favorite things to watch for while taking photos for an event is the "Unintended Portrait". Normally, when you think of a Portrait, you imagine someone in their finest attire, proper hair and make-up for the ladies and equal care and grooming for the gentleman.

However, the "Unintended Portrait" is just that, Unintended. It's when the outfit, the light, the pose, the spontaneity of the moment , all align and "click" the "Unintended Portrait".

If you didn't know any better, you would think this shot was a planned photo session...and Paul has done those as well. This is one of my favorites from this past Sunday.

I will try and get the rest of the photos posted tomorrow...

While there were many that could have won the award from Best Bike Photo...notice I did not say Best Bike...but Best Bike Photo which is all on the photographer and not the bike.

Although this bike photo did have an advantage from most other bikes. This photo was taken after everyone else had already left, thus the wide open space. Also, there are some color combinations at play and of course the overall composition drawing it all together with the background.

While the color photo is stunning, the B&W version is right at home with our DGR group.

As always, there were some amazing bikes and DGR participants. This photo reminds me of an Distinguished Gentleman from a "Bygone Era". Good show, old man.

And what would a photo review be without a couple of photos of our Co-Hosts for the DGR. They did a great job in making sure everything ran smoothly. Another successful year and a great group of Dapper Attired Riders. Thank you Michael and Bill E.
