Bishop State Truck Driving School

On-road instruction introduces students to various driving and load situations to learn and develop safe driving techniques. Students apply space management, visual search, communication, shifting and defensive driving techniques to safely operate a tractor-trailer. locate the school enrollment application. Provide a copy of your Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and the results of DOT physical and controlled substance tests to the instructor by the first day of class. PROGRAM COSTS:
Bishop State offers high quality instruction at an affordable cost. Tuition and fees are among the lowest in the state of Alabama. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
If you qualify, financial assistance may be available through the Alabama Career Center located in Mobile at 515 Springhill Plaza Court at I-65 and Springhill Avenue Extension. During the fall and spring semesters, two sessions are offered, one at the beginning of the semester and one at the mid-point. Each session lasts eight weeks. In the summer term, the College usually offers a day session and a night session, each lasting ten weeks.
