Had a little bit of flattery today 🙂.

Customer has followed the page from another state, for long while and waited until they could be in the area to get their Subaru tint, after seeing a Subaru video I did in 2022, explaining how to do these tricky windshields (camera system). His local shops said they couldn’t do it, but we know what the technique is.

Other than that, he got our relatively new 10% “diet limo” ceramic tint on the rest of the car and the same clear ceramic tint from the windshield, applied to the sunroof too.

It really meant a lot that someone would wait so long AND drive 10 hours before letting someone local touch his car.

Oh look… fixing ANOTHER tint job from the local $99 shop.

This is starting to feel like Forrest Gump Window Tint. Just doing the same thing over and over.

Although! This isn’t the customer’s fault. They just bought this brand new RAV4 and this is what the dealer sent out and gave her. She didn’t like it either.

On a lighter note.. did you know you can buy pumpkin pie at Walmart in May? They must offer these just because they know...

Just a gentle reminder.. but if we say “no” to something, it’s not because we’re being mean or rude or anything else, and we’re not targeting you. “No” doesn’t pay Alabama Power, so there’s ALWAYS a valid reason for “no”.

If we decline something - but I give you the names of two people that I know have shops also, and the name of their respective shops.. I’M TRYING TO HELP YOU GET WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR! Even though I won’t make a single dollar in the deal!

Lady today got mad as a wet hen when I tried to explain that we’re not taking a film removal job that came on her just purchased used car.

Asked probably 3 different ways and I said “we don’t remove tint that we didn’t install from coupes and sedans”, 3 different times. “That’s just f’n ridiculous!”

Well.. no.. it’s not. We are film put’r on’rs, not film taker off’rs. Getting hemmed up for hours and hours trying to clean some $100 hack job off the back window of a Camaro or Mustang would exceed the value of a new window.

It’s just not worth it, so, we don’t do it. BUT (!), I will gladly give you a referral. Really just kinda silly to be all pissy about it if I’m still looking to offer you a solution.

Getting mad that we wont do something that we dont do. “That’s just fu%*in’ ridiculous!”. Maybe so, but not as much as getting bent about it is.

I know it’s a little odd.. but before I throw them in the dumpster on Saturday… Anyone need strut assemblies and rotors ...
