If you’ve been around Mega Wash long enough, you probably know Myrtle. She’s our girl, unofficial mascot, and obviously the reason we have to give the dogs a little love today.

It’s an upbeat, fast-paced environment where the shifts move quickly without feeling overwhelming. You’ll get to know our regular customers, work independently, stay on your feet and be part of keeping Mega Wash running smoothly.

Is dependable and comfortable working independently
Likes staying busy and being hands-on
Doesn’t mind getting a little wet or dirty

CAR WASH FACTS YOU PROBABLY NEVER NEEDED TO KNOW

• One of the first automatic car washes opened in Detroit in 1946. Cars were pulled through on a conveyor while workers handled different parts of the wash.

• Touchless car washes clean your vehicle without brushes ever touching it. They rely on water pressure, specially formulated soaps and rinse cycles to break down and remove the grime.

• Modern touchless washes use different chemicals at different stages of the wash, it’s not just one soap getting sprayed over and over.

• Those colorful soaps actually have a job. Different products can help loosen dirt, attack road film, clean the surface and prep it for protectants.

We figured it was about time for a rodeo recap...

This year, Dan wanted to do something a little different.

With the rodeo celebrating America 250, he had a sign made and spent each night walking the grandstands. When the announcer told everyone to find Dan, the first row to spot him won free Mega Washes.

It was fun watching people point, wave, and try to figure out where he was hiding.

By the end of the weekend, we had handed out more than 40 free washes, all while Dan was getting around in a boot from a broken heel.

Thanks to everyone who played along. It was a fun way to be part of another great rodeo weekend.

Sometimes the coolest things rolling through Mega Wash don't have four doors.

From custom bikes and classic cars to side-by-sides, trucks, pups, and everything in between, we love seeing what pulls into the bay.

Our buddy stopped by to give his bike the treatment today, and we had to snap a photo. Safe rides, shiny machines, and good people... that's a pretty good day if you ask us.

MYRTLE'S MEGA BIRTHDAY BASH

If you've been around Mega Wash for a while, you've probably met Myrtle. She's spent plenty of days hanging around the wash, keeping an eye on things, and making friends along the way.

On June 27th, we're celebrating her birthday the best way we know how.

Stop by for a wash and help support a good cause while you're at it. A portion of the day's proceeds will be donated to local animal shelters in the Mitchell, Huron, and Sioux Falls areas.

Come get your ride cleaned up, celebrate Myrtle, and help us give back to some four-legged friends who could use it.
