On a cold subzero day 8 racers embarked on the Saunders Lake Speedway for the 2nd Annual Northern Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. Early on the racers had trouble finding grip on the clean surface. Throughout the evening the groove came in and the action was fierce, with several competitors taking some wild rides. In the end Brad B. collected his second Northern Chili Bowl Midget Nationals crown.

The record eighth entry is in. Rookie Joe R. of Minnetonka, Minnesota is set to make his Saunders Lake Speedway debut aboard the Miller High Life . The recent graduate of the Turtle Racing School should quickly adapt to the tight bullring. The team uses Hotlaps Racin Chassis and Plafit Fox powerplants.
