Check out these jaw-dropping detail shots we were able to capture of the new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport out in the wild. It pays homage to the original 1963 model with some exciting features like wide fenders, exclusive badges and fender hash marks.
Do you know where the Grand Sport’s hash marks originally come from? Legend has it that at the 1963 Bahamas Speed Week, all the GS models were painted Pelham Blue. So, pit crews decided to put on these simple markers made of different colors of duct tape to identify their specific car rocketing down the track.
These hash marks were revived 33 years later with the return of the GS in 1996, and we couldn’t be happier to see them proudly displayed on the new 2027!
