A 2019 Bentley Bentayga V8 was brought to the shop to diagnose an abnormal ticking noise coming from the engine. After performing diagnostic testing, it was determined that the engine noise is coming from the timing chain system and its internal components. Due to these findings, replacement of the timing chain guides, tensioners, and complete timing chain assembly is recommended in order to correct the noise and help prevent possible major internal engine damage.
