Hello to all the followers the Blue Oval Car Barn here’s a video of what we’re doing in our maintenance shop this week here at the Car Barn.

This is not where we do the Restoration work that’s elsewhere. Our Paint and Body metal repair and heavy assembly is in another shop.

This kind of gives us a walk around of what were working on today and if you stop by here for a tour, these are the kind of things you’re gonna see.

Now I did make one mistake in it. Hope everybody pays attention to this and don’t Hawk at me I said Hood I meant Hood Scoop when I was talking about the hood there at the end. Also the power steering box that’s on the table is not the correct one for this car. I realize that.

Ok here we go with a change to the Green Restomod project!

I removed the factory front seats and added a set of standard Recaro seats!

Im going to drive this car with these seats and see how they feel.

How do u guys like them! I will keep the original seats to go back in if needed!

Now I have a Pro Pinstriper scheduled for the rework on the hood and the wheels are at the powder coater.

Tires will be next!

Today we started bagging and tagging our 68 R Code Coupe

This car is Acapulco Blue with blue interior.

C6 428 Cobra Jet GT that alone is enough to make you smile, but when I took off the glove box door, I looked at it and I thought to myself I’m gonna find another one for this car this one is staying in my office and it made me smile!

The Blue Oval Car Barn recently purchased a Boss 351 in Wichita Kansas.

Thanks to a local Mustang enthusiast we located a Boss 351. That is Grabber Green with white interior. We will be doing a complete Restoration.

Attached for a few pictures of the find and some of the details about the car

The car will be on display this weekend in Wichita at the southern Kansas Mustang Club car show at Sedgwick Park

Attached is the flyer for that show as well and the Blue Oval Car Barn followers that are in the area. Might stop by and take a look at it and meet Kenny!

You will be able to follow this car from the find through metal repair paint body and assembly and then we’ll take it back up to Wichita and show it in the same car show when we get it complete!

We’re deep into assembly now and we’re trying to get it kind of rushed into a condition we can take it to a Bond event in July!

We’re dropping the original engine and trans in the Oranger survivor barn find 69 Boss 302!

We drive it a but w out 70 service engine and DN 5 speed going back original after engine was repaired!

Had twin 1450 CFM Ford cross boss carbs and looks like the previous owner missed a gear!

Engine is solid now and we’re swapping it back in!

These are all with 70 engine and DN5 speed!
