Last night I attended a training class in Blairsville, Georgia, made available through O’Reilly Auto Parts and Real World Training by Standard Motor Products.
The class, “Highs and Lows of Network Faults,” was taught by Wayne Bishop with Standard. Wayne and I have communicated and shared diagnostic information in the past, so I appreciated the opportunity to learn from him in person.
I had several questions about information covered in the class and some equipment settings we use at MDC. Wayne offered to stop by the shop because he wanted the opportunity to work with the equipment himself. While he was here, we were able to connect it to a couple of different vehicles and gather some useful real-world information right here in the shop.
Automotive technology never stops changing, and neither can we. I’m grateful for continued training, hands-on learning, and the opportunity to work with knowledgeable people like Wayne. More than anything, I appreciate the solid relationships we continue to build throughout this industry.
Thank you, Wayne, Standard Motor Products, and O’Reilly Auto Parts, for investing in automotive technicians and independent repair shops.
