Just some eye candy for those who have plans for your M157. There is nothing we haven’t tested, done or attempted for this platform. And many we have helped . here is a top mount cooler we did and sort to improve in area we know are crucial, core design, pressure drop, and efficiency. You can’t just smack intercoolers on top and think just because you have 2 huge coolers it’s gonna work, in fact I bet the stock would achieve much better results. The little things matter! also check out a cool article of us 21 years ago when I designed an air to water intercoole before they were even mainstream used only in hardcore motorsport back then bare seen. Knowledge is power! lol. Even eurotuner and superstreet loved it so much they gave my ugly young self a spread back then 🤣

To my M157/m278 community! We have some exciting new updates and breakthroughs that we have been working on. A2d has consistently pushed the platform to new levels, giving so many owners inspiration to follow through and build their project. Sharing information, data, ideas and methods to use. we have some tested and proven new additions! we have successfully installed and tested upgraded behive valve springs with increased seat /spring pressure. The oem springs are to soft and have a tendency to float which causes high boost tunes to crack open the valves and or delay closure. stopping us from being able to take these m157 to 6500-7k rpm successfully. Especially with high boost. We have also added to the list of first ever! Upgraded camshaft profiles! Increased valve lift, increased duration, for both intake and exhaust! This is NOT!!! Easy. The VVT is very picky about valve spring pressure, and higher lift camshafts. But after many attempts we nailed it . Custom titanium retainers added for some weight savings and as you can see we have shaved weight from the valve train. This may not seem like much but I assure you this helps. We hand ported the heads using specific percentages based off the size of the valves, keeping a rough port for better methanol suspension as its atomizes. We have also add ARP washer allowing for better clamping distribution, while increasing the size of the cross bolt washers using and arp hardware. We found the with high power the stock main cap bolts hold well but the cross bolts give way sometimes causing some main caps to rock. The results are outstanding!! We can now run 93 octane on what was once a high octane map doing consistent low 5’s 60-130 runs, on 93 with a daily street map rpm set To 6500. Next up 7k and low 4’s

M278 4.7 engine owners!! We have some data for you. Another customer that was impressed by the improvements Seen here after installing our high flow intakes. This is an m278 4.7. look at the data from these 2 logs showing how stressed the turbos were in some situations vs how he is hitting the streets now. There were no revisions done yet! These logs are just the difference of dropping them in . He is now seeing an avg of 15-18% WGDC drop, in some areas as low as 25% drop as seen in these logs! with a revised tune we are looking at even better gains! For those that dont know and are hung up thinking the stock intakes are designed good enough from the factory are way off. To attain this type of difference in wgdc using the stock intakes , you would need to upgrade the turbocharger. Data doesn’t lie. P.s. dyno numbers coming soon from on another’s customers setup. Stock vs high flow

This area right here . This is where the details come into play . Most won't even pull these sensor housings. It takes alit of time to remove them , then reinstall . A total of 6 hours additional. Cleaning prepping and then installing. This is one of the reasons we won't match your cheaper shops prices. There's a bunch of small tedious things that will never be seen that we do , this helps provide peace and mind for us knowing we are taking every step to provide a great service. In the repair shop industry for every 20 cars , you tend to get 1 or 2 cars that just don't go right no matter how hard you try . Stars just don't align, repair and parts timing are off etc. but don't give up . Take a step back evaluate the situation, go back over it using a process of elimination. Eliminating the issues one at a time. Next time you get your repaired and repainted bumper back from your shop. Take a look at the sensor area . If you see clear coat fusing the two parts together, or the sensor rubber seals painted the color of the car. That's gonna tell you a lot. A new bumper is much easier to look good. It's the repair and repainted bumpers that come out really bad if the don't take time to do this .
