Seeking a Shop manager for a small composites and fabrication shop specializing in coachbuilt specialty vehicles.

Essential Skills required:

-small team management experience
-spreadsheet experience to set and keep track of deadlines and help team hit their deadlines.

Experience in any of the following industries preferred:

-sanding/finishing
-woodworking
-fabrication
-composites
-auto repair or restoration

- Read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Able to lift 75 LBS
- Must accurately read a tape measure
-Safe and proper usage of power saws and other general power and air equipment.

Must possess strong attention to detail. tape measure reading and ability to think on your feet are a must. full time with benefits after probationary period.

Essential Job Duties: will train as needed

-Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, power tools and hand tools
-woodworking, bodywork, gluing and sanding are typical
-Maintain clean, orderly and organized work area
-Comply with safety rules, guidelines and standards
-Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business
-will be taught to lay up composite parts

Skill/Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and good transportation
Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written
Ability to read and understand basic instructions
Multi-taking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment
Maintain a well-groomed appearance

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Position is based in a normal shop environment. Frequent physical activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, lifting above shoulders is a part of daily activity as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull parts carts and cars with assistance. Working environment consists of: Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Mandatory requirement to wear protective equipment. Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.

We are seeking a wiring and board development engineering or person with applicable experience in the following areas:

Responsibilities
- build, install, and test vehicle wiring harnesses
- create harness drawings and assembly instructions
- Work with wiring harness contract manufacturer to ensure supplier quality and schedule
- Assemble electronics assemblies
- troubleshooting electronics problems in vehicle and bench-testing environment
- proper wiring techniques for low and high voltage systems
- ev wiring for battery packs, motors and auxilary ev components
- board layout on Kicad or similar program for manufacture of led and simple auxilary boards to be used on custom vehicles
- CAN sniffer and communication experience

Qualifications
• Desire and ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed work environment
• 2+ years of experience working on vehicle wiring harnesses and electronics manufacturing
• Experience with automotive wiring harness fabrication and installation
• Experience with printed circuit board design and assembly
• Experience with motorsports or military style wiring harness fabrication a plus
• Experience with high voltage a plus

Learned some cool news skills this weekend. Always wanted to be able to stitch and sew. It will make me a better designer when design interiors. And maybe make my personal cars look a little better…thanks

This is going to be fun! Large scale cnc take. To the next level. 3d print then mill to a-surface. Will add a turntable for now and a rail when I get more room hah.
